With over two decades of experience in thinking beyond the box, Richard Hywel Evans specialises in designing avant-garde ‘entertaining environments’. He uses the latest in technology and creative ideas to construct structures which capture both hearts and minds. Richard’s approach has been celebrated in a range of projects from apartments, retail design and spas through to international project master planning and zero-carbon resorts. His work has been widely published. He has also lectured intensively and has featured in various television programmes.
Richard Hywel Evans envisioned the creation of Zil Pasyon from indigenous materials. Buildings are light in structure and appear as an integral part of the landscape, maximizing the understanding of Félicité Island’s natural beauty, views and pure environment. The vision is to create a new ‘stealth’ architecture that is unseen from the surrounding islands and the sea, camouflaged by the natural landscape.
